How this image was made
The only aerial work in this group. Flown by drone above the cove, its frames were captured in a deliberate overlapping grid rather than on a mount — with no indexing head in the air, alignment and exposure were held by hand across the full sphere. Stitched and reprojected, the pine-crowned granite shoreline draws closed into an island entire unto itself.
Permanence
Wilhelm Imaging Research display-permanence rating of 65 years for dye-sublimation on ChromaLuxe under standard indoor gallery lighting (240 lux, 12h/day).
How each print is authenticated
- A serialized tamper-evident hologram is applied to the reverse of the panel, with its identically numbered twin on the paper certificate. The holograms are die-cut to disintegrate if removed.
- A code is engraved into the panel backing, linking the object to its individual record in this register.
- Each record is cryptographically signed, so any later alteration is detectable by anyone, without needing to trust this website.
