How this image was made
The birch boardwalk at Jesup Path in autumn, built from thirty-plus frames rotated on a calibrated indexing mount from a single point on the walkway. Stitched into a full sphere and reprojected, the straight boardwalk bends into a ring and the white trunks radiate outward like spokes. No element has been moved or added; the geometry alone does the work.
Permanence
Wilhelm Imaging Research display-permanence rating of 65 years for dye-sublimation on ChromaLuxe under standard indoor gallery lighting (240 lux, 12h/day).
How each print is authenticated
- A serialized tamper-evident hologram is applied to the reverse of the panel, with its identically numbered twin on the paper certificate. The holograms are die-cut to disintegrate if removed.
- A code is engraved into the panel backing, linking the object to its individual record in this register.
- Each record is cryptographically signed, so any later alteration is detectable by anyone, without needing to trust this website.
